Not sure of the difference in glass classes? Here is a very simple explanation…
Flameworking or Lampworking is when you use a fuel/oxygen torch and melt glass in front of you to create beads and sculptures.
Glass Fusing is when you cut pieces of glass, assemble them in a design and put them into a glass kiln to fuse and slump them into shapes like plates and bowls.
Glass Blowing is when you work in a Glass Hot Shop where large vats of molten glass is gathered onto a long glass pipe and you blow and sculpt it into larger sculptures.
Stained Glass is when you cut pieces of glass and attach them into a design using a soldering iron and lead solder.
This is Deb and I'd like to welcome you to my web site. Here you will find information on my personal artistic journey, where I sell what I create, and information on the art glass world.
